This sweet ‘Tis the Season Christmas mini album is easy to make when you use my custom SVG file for album bindings. No need for measuring, scoring, or cutting. Just let your machine do all the hard work and you get to do the fun part. Putting it all together.

I’ve come to the conclusion that I love playing with paper because it is a mixture of paper dolls and puzzles. Both of which, I love!

Bindings for Mini Albums

There are a number of ways to put together a mini album for your photos. This one uses a hinge binding system. We will talk about all the other ways later in a different post.

This one creates a traditional style book with pages that lay flat.

The math is a little more involved and the construction takes some time. But they are very sturdy and so worth it.

To help save you the headache, I have created an SVG file for the hinge binding and to cut your pages (I leave the pattern paper cutting up to you, but include the measurements).

Making mini albums like this is one of my favorite things to do. They are definitely a labor of love and can take some time, but it is quality time and I know my loved ones will enjoy flipping through these albums for years to come.
